SME Pittsburgh Section helps educate students about minerals and the minerals and mining industries. We regularly exhibit at local Science Teachers' Conferences and sponsor the Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair. SME can provide helpful information, posters, study materials, text books, workbooks, videos, computer programs and games for teachers and classroom volunteers. All materials are available through SME. Many items are free to teachers for a small postage and handling fee. Some material can be downloaded directly from the SME Store.
