Joint Meeting Between The Pittsburgh Geological Society and the SME Pittsburgh Section 

The Pittsburgh Geological Society and the Pittsburgh Section of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration, Inc. co-hosted a presentation evening on Wednesday January 21, 2009. The title is Coal Mine Roof Safety in the Illinois Basin by Gregory M. Molinda, Lead Research Scientist, Geologist, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). More than 60 people were present in the meeting.
