speakers included CEO James F. Roberts (Foundation
Coal), mining engineer Shane D. Perry (J.T. Boyd Co.),

CONSOL
Energy Inc. hosted the joint meeting member reception
(October 30, 2008) at the new CNX Center. This event
commemorated the recent opening of their new
headquarters in Southpointe, PA. The member reception
was the highlight of the joint meeting and was enjoyed
by all, including many SME professional and student
members.
Guests were
greeted at the CNX Center entrance by mine rescue team
members and emergency response equipment was on display.
The reception continued with a building tour, fine
cuisine and beverages, and a warm welcome from SME-member

CONSOL Energy Inc. employees. Mr. Lilly provided his
insight about the assured future of CONSOL Energy Inc.,
